Notes

'Shades of Pink' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Shades of Pink') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large pink single blooms have crinkled, wavy petals and fade to lighter pink. Each stem carries one bud. John and Dot McFarlane introduced it in 2000.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, Pink Impression tulip, Ostrich fern, and Polish Spirit clematis.
