Notes
'Sharp Dressed Man' iris (Iris 'Sharp Dressed Man') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and fragrant gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Dark purple to almost black falls and light purple standards contrast with bright orange beards in early to late spring. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Divide the clumps every two to three years just after blooming.
Pairs well with Star Gazer lily, Coral Sunset peony, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
