Notes

'Shin Lo' peony (Paeonia 'Shin Lo') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It bears single, fragrant, orange flowers that draw butterflies and bees. It stays short, and its flowers are the smallest on the lowest bush.

Pairs well with Royal Standard hosta, Yarrow, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Carlton daffodil.
