Notes

Shore juniper (Juniperus rigida) is a creeping evergreen shrub for rock gardens, ground cover, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy soil. It grows fast and spreads wide, so give it room. The blue-green foliage is fragrant, and birds visit it. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Blue grama, Blue star creeper, and Greig's tulip.
