Notes

Siberian fritillary (Fritillaria pallidiflora) is a bulb for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Nodding lemon yellow flowers open in early to late spring, 6 or 8 to a stem, and attract bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The stems often flop over horizontally.

Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Spanish bluebell, Sensitive fern, and Dalmatian bellflower.

Central Asia and Xinjiang.
