Notes
'Silver Cloud' Texas redbud (Cercis canadensis 'Silver Cloud') is a tree for borders, specimen planting, woodland gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Light purple flowers open from early to late spring and draw butterflies and bees. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Give it room to spread wide.
Pairs well with Amsonia and Little bluestem.
