Notes

'Silver Moon' stokes’ aster (Stokesia laevis 'Silver Moon') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. Creamy white flowers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It stays about 18 inches tall.

Pairs well with Little bluestem, Hardy hibiscus, and Lily.
