Notes
'Silver Mound' white sagebrush (Artemisia schmidtiana 'Silver Mound') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Its fragrant foliage forms a tidy mound that spreads 12 to 24 inches. It tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Fanal astilbe, Amazing Grace tulip, and Double Play Doozie spirea.
