Notes

'Silver Queen' heather (Calluna vulgaris 'Silver Queen') is a shrub for borders, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Bees visit the flowers in summer and again in autumn. This evergreen has an ascending habit.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Hinoki cypress, and Greig's tulip.
