Notes

'Silver Scent' sage (Salvia officinalis 'Silver Scent') is a mounding perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms from early to late summer, and butterflies and bees visit the fragrant plant. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Once settled in, it handles dry spells well.

Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Blue fescue, and Queen of Night tulip.
