Grower's Friend sage

Notes

'Grower's Friend' sage (Salvia officinalis 'Grower's Friend') is an herb for culinary gardens and herb beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. It does not flower, so its energy stays in the greenish-grey foliage. It grows as a small, evergreen, mounding plant up to two feet tall and wide. Prune it in spring to keep a compact shape.

Pairs well with Calendula, Japanese holly, and Daffodil.
