Notes

'Silver Swan' peony (Paeonia 'Silver Swan') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large single flowers open with a peach pink flush at the base of silky white petals. They are fragrant and sit on tall stems, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Guacamole hosta, Limelight hydrangea, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
