Notes

Silverleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea radiata) is a shrub for borders, pollinator gardens, and woodland edges. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The leaves are green on top with silver undersides, so they flash in the breeze. White flowers open from late spring into summer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the plant.

Pairs well with Humpback Whale hosta, Canada wild rye, and Colorado blue spruce.
