'Sky Planet' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Sky Planet') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant blue flowers open from early to late spring and attract bees. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.
