Notes

'Skybound' American arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis 'Skybound') is a tree for privacy screens, hedges, specimens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows slowly and keeps a dense, fragrant, evergreen form. Birds visit it. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Wintergreen, Prairie dropseed, Carlton daffodil, and Common snowdrop.
