Notes

'Skywriter' hosta (Hosta 'Skywriter') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Its ruffled blue leaves have white undersides and sit on bright purple stems. Lavender flowers open in late summer and attract hummingbirds and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with White phlox, Limelight Prime panicle hydrangea, Sorbet peony, and Ice Follies daffodil.
