Notes

'Sleeping Undine' peony (Paeonia 'Sleeping Undine') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Fragrant yellow flowers open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It spreads by underground shoots, so give it room.

Pairs well with Sweet woodruff, Toad lily, Weigela, and Christmas fern.
