Notes
'Slim and Trim' hosta (Hosta 'Slim and Trim') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. It blooms from early to late summer, and the flowers are fragrant. Bees and hummingbirds visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Eastern columbine, Fernleaf peony, and Limelight Prime panicle hydrangea.
