Notes

'Snow Waltz' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Snow Waltz') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears white flowers with lime-yellow stamens in early summer, with one bud per stem. A purple red seed pod follows the bloom. John and Dot McFarlane bred it, and it grows about 39 to 59 inches tall.

Pairs well with Little bluestem, The President clematis, Cinnamon fern, and Blue fescue.
