Notes

'Snow Wheel' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Snow Wheel') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is a compact, stocky plant with stiff stems and crinkled foliage. Large white flowers open from mid to late spring into early summer. The center blackens quickly in damp weather.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Hairy aster, Sedge, and Black Hero tulip.
