Notes

'Soft Salmon Saucer' peony (Paeonia 'Soft Salmon Saucer') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The soft salmon-pink saucer blooms are fragrant and open early, and bees and butterflies visit them. It grows about 32 inches tall with good foliage. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Cheerfulness daffodil, Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, and Sedge.
