Notes
'Solange' peony (Paeonia 'Solange') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The large double blooms open slowly in cream-white with buff and pale salmon-pink. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Limelight hydrangea, and Sedge.
