Notes

'Sonoma Halo' peony (Paeonia 'Sonoma Halo') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, fully double yellow flowers fade to creamy white along the outer edges, and the sepals remain after petals fall. Irene Tolomeo bred it. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Moonshine yarrow, Black Hero tulip, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
