Notes

'Sonoma Tequila Sunrise' peony (Paeonia 'Sonoma Tequila Sunrise') is a shrub for borders, specimen plantings, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Semi-double reddish orange flowers open in early to late spring with red flares, and they turn more yellow with age. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Catmint, Blue fescue, and The President clematis.
