Notes
'Sparkling Dewdrops' peony (Paeonia 'Sparkling Dewdrops') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Cream blooms with rose-red and carmine-pink shading open in early to late spring, and butterflies visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Derek Irvine bred it.
Pairs well with Blue sage, Ostrich fern, and Lily.
