Notes

'Spiked Punch' carnation (Dianthus 'Spiked Punch') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil of most types. The fragrant flowers draw butterflies and bees, and they open in spring, summer, and autumn. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The evergreen foliage tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Catmint, Coneflower, and Blue fescue.
