Notes

'Spring Dance' peony (Paeonia 'Spring Dance') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Blooms open in early to late spring in cream with rose-pink edges and light apricot shading, and butterflies visit them. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Blue flag, Blue sage, Lily, and Christmas fern.
