Notes

'Starburst Symphony' peony (Paeonia 'Starburst Symphony') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant flowers open pale yellow with pink shading and fuchsia streaks that form a starburst pattern. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Donald Robert Smith bred it, and the dome-shaped plant reaches about 33 inches tall.

Pairs well with Royal Standard hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Black Hero tulip.
