Stella trailing bellflower

Notes

'Stella' trailing bellflower (Campanula poscharskyana 'Stella') is a perennial for rock gardens, edging, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Deep blue flowers cover it from early to late summer. It stays 6 to 12 inches tall and spreads 12 to 18 inches, so give it room to trail. It sits low on the menu for deer.

Pairs well with Black Hero tulip, Compass plant, and Alexander Fleming peony.
