Notes

Trailing bellflower (Campanula poscharskyana) is a perennial for ground cover, containers, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows 6 to 12 inches tall and spreads 12 to 18 inches, so it makes a neat evergreen mat. Lavender-blue flowers open in spring and again in summer, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Mexican daisy, Caradonna sage, and Lady's mantle.
