Notes

'Strawberry Delight' peony (Paeonia 'Strawberry Delight') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The fragrant, near double flowers are strawberry red with a deeper maroon flare, and David Reath bred it. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The stems are slender but strong.

Pairs well with Royal Purple smoketree, Blue sage, and Hinoki cypress.
