Notes
'Summer Charm' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Summer Charm') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The full double blooms are light salmony creamy pink and open late in spring. The stems are good, which makes the flowers handy for cutting. Eugene H. Lins bred it.
Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Prairie dropseed, Grape hyacinth, and Smooth hydrangea.
