Notes

'Summer Skies' lily-of-the-nile (Agapanthus 'Summer Skies') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Light blue flowers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn. Deer tend to browse other plants first. The blooms draw butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Bigleaf hydrangea, and Pink.
