Notes

'Sunrise' apple (Malus domestica 'Sunrise') is a tree for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is grown for fresh eating and juice. The apples ripen early over a long period, so you can leave them on the tree until you are ready to eat them. Summerland Research Station bred it in the 1990s.

Pairs well with Pink Lemonade blueberry, Flowering quince, and Grape hyacinth.
