Notes
'Sunshine Festival' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Sunshine Festival') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The white flowers have bright yellow centers and prominent red stigmas, and each stem carries three to four blooms with no fragrance. The upright stems reach 28 inches, so give them support. Roy G. Klehm bred it.
Pairs well with Wild geranium, Ostrich fern, and Picture tulip.
