Notes

'Sweet Heidy' crane's-bill (Geranium 'Sweet Heidy') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. Blue-purple flowers with a white center surrounded by pink bloom in spring, summer, and autumn. Butterflies visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Blazing star.
