Notes

'Tamamidori' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Tamamidori') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Henry and Lee introduced it in 1926. Its other name, Green Jade, hints at the color of its blooms.

Pairs well with Cat mint, Ostrich fern, Black Parrot tulip, and Mock orange.
