Notes

'Tangerine Gem' marigold (Tagetes tenuifolia 'Tangerine Gem') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flowers. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It forms a dense, fragrant mound that reaches 10 to 18 inches tall, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Apricotta cosmos, Old Mexico zinnia, and Red fescue.
