Notes

Tatarian honeysuckle (Lonicera tatarica) is a shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Pink, fragrant flowers open from early to late spring and attract hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Give this fast grower room to spread.

Pairs well with Panicle hydrangea, Blush peony, and Sedge.
