Notes

'Tattoo' hosta (Hosta 'Tattoo') is a perennial for borders, shade gardens, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. It bears light lavender, fragrant flowers from early to late summer. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Sedge, Yellow trout-lily, and Little Hottie panicle hydrangea.
