Notes

'Thelma Campbell' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Thelma Campbell') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The deep pink double blooms open in late spring and have a silvery white sheen on the outside of the petals. Arching stems form a loose bush about 33 inches tall. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Rainbow's End hosta, Royal fern, Japanese spirea, and Spanish bluebell.
