Notes

'Tib' heather (Calluna vulgaris 'Tib') is a shrub for borders, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It stays evergreen and has an ascending habit. Bees visit the blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Hinoki cypress, and Greig's tulip.
