Notes
'Timeless Fire' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Timeless Fire') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, bright red double flowers have a darker center and a ball form. Each stem carries one bud, and the stems are strong. John and Dot McFarlane introduced it in 2000.
Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Ostrich fern, Pink Impression tulip, and Bottlebrush buckeye.
