Notes

'Tmgh' southern magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora 'Tmgh') is a tree for specimen planting, pollinator gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows at a moderate rate into a conical, evergreen shape. The fragrant blooms open in spring and again in summer, and they attract bees and birds. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Japanese maple, American holly, Sweet woodruff, and Fountain grass.
