Notes

'Victoria' southern magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora 'Victoria') is a tree for specimen use, pollinator gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It has a conical shape, grows at a moderate pace, and stays evergreen. The fragrant flowers open in spring and summer and attract bees and birds.

Pairs well with Japanese maple, Tea plant, and Mondo grass.
