Notes

'Tondeleyo' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Tondeleyo') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The full double flowers are a dark pink and open in late spring. Strong, stiff stems carry the blooms, and the leaves reach all the way down the stem.

Pairs well with Compass plant, Switchgrass, Garlic chives, and Musk mallow.
