Notes
'Touch of Blue' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Touch of Blue') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, semi-double pink flowers have bluish hues and open from mid to late spring into early summer. Blooms sit high on a tall bush with mid green foliage. John and Dot McFarlane introduced it in 2000.
Pairs well with Fragrant Bouquet hosta, Christmas fern, Star magnolia, and Black Parrot tulip.
