Notes
'Toy Soldier' hosta (Hosta 'Toy Soldier') is a perennial for borders, shade gardens, and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It blooms from early to late summer, and the flowers are fragrant. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Claire de Lune peony, Canada wild rye, and Mount Hood daffodil.
