Notes

Trailing phlox (Phlox nivalis) is a groundcover for rock gardens, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It stays 6 to 8 inches tall and spreads 12 to 15 inches. The evergreen foliage stays green through the year, and white, pink, or purple flowers open in spring. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Sundrops, Blue sage, and Snake's head.
