Notes

'Trendy' peony (Paeonia 'Trendy') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Its ruffled rose-red petals have cream tinges and open from early to late spring. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with Burnet, Lily, The President clematis, and Bottlebrush buckeye.
